Rehabilitation of the airport pavement required a high‑precision engineering approach: a survey campaign and performance checks with Heavy Weight Deflectometer (HWD) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), supported by a mobile laboratory for controls and material prequalification throughout the work cycle. The intervention included asphalt overlay, updates to drainage and AGL (Airfield Ground Lighting) systems, as well as signage and markings, following a phased plan compatible with the airport’s operational continuity and with quality, safety, and environmental management standards.
