Unimpresa Branch started in May 2022, with completion expected in 2025, the works for the expansion and maintenance of the 78‑km development road connecting the city of Adama in central Ethiopia, south of Addis Abeba, with the city of Assela, where an airport is located, within the Alemgena RNSMBD project. The maintenance works consist essentially of adopting various RAP technologies, hydraulic rehabilitation, and widening of the roadway, for a total contract value of about €15 million.

Unimpresa Branch operates in central Ethiopia on the strategic Adama–Assela corridor, starting in May 2022 an expansion and maintenance intervention along about 78 km (completion expected in 2025) within the Alemgena RNSMBD project. The project combines pavement recovery and regeneration with RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement) technologies, hydraulic rehabilitation for improved water management, and widening of the roadway, with the goal of increasing safety, capacity, and durability of the infrastructure that connects the area south of Addis Abeba with Assela, a hub also served by an airport.
